Flash make its way into iPhone

After spending several years persuading Apple to make technical changes to allow Flash programs to be run on the iPhone, finally the developer of widely used Flash programs devised a way on translating its code to run on the iPhone. This move will certainly boost the variety of software for the Apple’s popular smart phone.

With an agreement with Apple, Adobe announced that they will introduce a tool for computer programmers to convert the software that they write in Flash into a code that will work on the iPhone. Flash has been designed to allow computer programmers write a set of code that runs on multiple types of computer or mobile devices.

Before, iPhone is the only major handset provider that has declined to collaborate with Adobe. Now Apple has yet to agree with Adobe to clear two main technical hurdles that would enable Flash applications to run on iPhone, tells Adrian Ludwig, a manager with Adobe’s Flash group in an interview. This new option will allow developers to create a second piece of software that they can distribute through Apple App’s store.

Adobe said in a press release that a public trial version of the tool to convert Flash programs into code that will run on iPhone will be released later in this year.
